Basic Info BioCharacter's Name | Rei Sanjo
His nickname is Karura it is assigned to him so he could work under cover for Shige and his name, along with others in his line of business, has a meaning and comes right from Mythology.
Character's Age | 16
Character's Sex | male
Character's Grade | 10
Character's Birthday | April 3
Character's Appearance | Dark eyes and long black spiked hair. He is about 5'11" and is easily recognized by his trademark bandana which he always gets in trouble at school for wearing.
Character's Personality | Rei is a tough kid that is street smart and strong. His hard past proceeded into making him having a negative attitude about most things and enjoying the effects of a occasional high to escape. This only hardened him as he joined the gang that he got his drugs from wanting the discount it came with.
Shortly after joining the gang Rei and a fellow member were playing the buddy system while on the streets and got attacked. Rei was so stoned he couldn't help and they killed the kid he was with, and then went after him.
A mysterious girl passing by scared them off and got help for him. Since then Rei had toned down on the drugs and tries to stay sober and play the part of big brother to the dumb and newer recruits. He won't ever try and be a leader since he hates the responsibility that comes with it so more of a follower if anything. Loyal to his 'friends' and somewhat prude he will speak anything that comes to mind.

Character's Fighting Style | Usually has no other need to fight unless backing up a friend and for that he either uses his fists unless it an all out turf war he will use the flails he carries in his back pack.
Character's History | Rei grow up in a poor but closely knit family most of his life. He was a good kid and student and was living a very happy life that was until his uncle moved back to Tokyo from Osaka when he was only eight years old. Its true his parents married young, perhaps too young since his parents married right out of high school before they even finished it.. Apparently after getting together a few times his mother fell in love with her brother in law and the two had an affair.
When Rei's father found out he was devastated after kicking his wife out he got a divorce. It didn't take long for his Mom and uncle to get married but that's when the gossip started. He always heard some of the adults at his apartment talk about the incident and eventually the kids in his school began to bring it up too. This resulted in Rei getting into fights and skipping school.
Around the age of thirteen Rei's broken home life got to him he practically stopped going to school and hung around a group of local drug dealers near his neighborhood. Not to mention all the rumors that followed him around now that he was older he understood more stuff then he used too, it seemed his mom was pretty close to his uncle before he went to Osaka in the first place meaning Rei could of been their love child.
It didn't take long for his dad along with the help of his dad's new girlfriend to get sick of him and kick him out. Rei had no where to go except ask his cousin Arashi to let him stay his cousin agreed. He was having problems too after his dad married Rei's mother but the two never blamed each other and get along quite well.
Character's Family Notes
Seiji | Rei's dad and nothing more then a poor fishermen working on some crummy boat that docks in Tokyo bay.
Mikako | Rei's mom, she left Rei's dad about 8 years earlier and now married to his uncle, his dad's brother
Suguru | Rei's uncle, Seiji's brother, and the man his mom remarried he has with a much better paying job and gives her all the jewelry she wants.
Arashi | Rei's cousin and Suguru's son from a previous marriage. Works as a bartender in a pub near by and sometimes performs with his band there on certain nights and in the day goes to college part time.
Pets | Rei keeps about 8, sometimes more they populate fast, white mice as and a Japanese Sparrow hawk named Fujin after the Japanese god of the wind and was a given as a gift to him.
Character's Neighborhood | His lives in his cousin's apartment which Arashi's dad pays for as long as he goes to college.
Character's Job | Works on the streets dealing. Also now works at the Coffee shop Shuichi does as a way to spy on him.
On the street that he works there are many other shops, the ramen shop (Yosuke works at), next to a pizza shop, then the coffee shop (Shuichi and Rei works), and finally a bakery (where Leo and Kira work at) they fall in that exact order.
Character's Transportation | Walks to get to the places he needs to get too.
Character's Dating Status | Moves from girls quite often, single but has a few girls he sleeps with from time to time
Character's Love Life | Rei has never had a serious girlfriend before but once was saved from death by some unknown girl out on the streets when a deal went down badly (See above in Pesonality). He still secretly looks for this girl when he is off by himself on the streets.
Character's Social Status | Pretty misunderstood and people tend to keep their distance from him. On the streets he keeps his cool and will rather stay out of a fight then cause one. Tends to have others look up to him.
